Information

While studying, I was fortunate to have the ability to do some of my own freelance work on the side. I was called in by Argan Oil New Zealand Ltd. to help them structure their product line in regards to their branding. They import many of these products from Morocco with packaging being all out of order. As they are a small company, time is of the essence. I kept this in mind with my designs, having effective concepts that are both good on budget, time and align as one design system. For a start, having the same layout and typography for each product is essential. The only difference being the names and coloured bands to further distinguish them apart. This was a fun project, learning more about, not only my abilities, but other parts that have to play in the role of a freelance designer such as finances and actually putting a monetary value on the work itself.
